DONALD TRUMP: To Believe or Not to Believe

DONALD TRUMP: To Believe or Not to Believe

D.L. Wallace
0/5 ( ratings)
Donald Trump used the stage of the Republican National Convention to get his message across to the American voter. It was a message which relied heavily on statistics supporting his perspective on crime, unauthorized immigration, income disparities, international trade, and the national deficit. From top to bottom, Mr. Trump's numbers presented as a dark cloud looming over the United States. However, as we all are aware, the same statistics can often be couched in such a way as to present opposing views, depending upon which view the presenter advocates. This voter's guide goes between the lines of Mr. Trump's speech, teases out the implications of Mr. Trump's words, brings together in one convenient source--and in a way that is objective--the actual numbers, not in isolation but patterns and trends, and then provides enough perspective to encourage the reader/voter to engage in an active process of learning for him or herself. As the editor, I am confident that the process will ensure conviction, one way or the other, as the voter steps into the voting booth. Read and make up your own mind, free of the bias of the media, manipulation, and emotional response.
