I'm sorry, I just didn't like it. I thought it started pretty alright, if a bit cliche, with the dig, unearthing treasure (Shazam started basically the same way) but from there the story kind of disolved to... well nothing. There was a curse unleashed, diety unearthed, faith found, big battle, the end. Where every character was a sentient hawk... which was strange because Hawkman and Hawkgirl may be aliens but they are still hummaniod. And five times I counted Hawkman being a sexist, dismissive
A giant, ancient, bird demon from space is the villain. What more could you want from a comic.Really smooth art and a great use of under developed characters.
El arte...!De mis favoritos.
Colección Essentials.
great art and pulp fun !!!!
My first Hawkman book, bought on Michael Lark's name only.Is the main character always such a moron? I mean, when you find an urn that says "Don't you f#@$£%* touch it or you will unleash unspeakable horrors", what do you usually do?Well, Hawkie opens it with moronic confidence and unleashes unspeakable horrors. More seriously, this book is about faith. Religious or not and what it can accomplish. Ok. I'm not too enthralled but why not? But this is done in so naive a way I rushed up to end this
