What can I say about this incredible book?. The pictures in here go beyond never-before-seen. there are entire looks by bands in here (such as my own) that have never been seen not to mention Bon Jovi Motley Crue Guns and Roses. This is a must-have for any true Rock and roller. The quality of this book is beyond top notch. The pictures are crystal clear the compositions are all amazing and the writing is excellent as well. Mark Weiss' story will relate to anybody who was a rock and roll fan from...
This coffee table book is HUGE!!!eXCELLENT BOOK, TONS OF AWESOME PICTURES, THE 80'S RULED.
Wow!!!This is definitely the best book that I own, I could look at photographs in this for hours. Mark Weiss has taken many amazing at shots of incredible musicians. There's a huge variety of 80s rock and metal bands in here. Recommend to all rock fans.
You'll wish your old issues of Circus, Hit Parader and RIP were still around. Fun stroll down memory lane for any former headbangers (or the people who love them)
What a time capsule of the excess that was Hard Rock & Metal of the '80s. Growing up south of Dallas/Fort Worth in the middle of (George Strait) country, I was probably a little behind most in getting into Rock music back then.By late '83/early '84 I was 14 and, having finally started listening to Top 40 Radio the year before, just getting acquainted with Ground Zero of Hair Metal: Motley Crue, Dokken, Bon Jovi, Ratt and the like. So it seems like I remember seeing every one one of Mark's photos...
I met the photographer last night and got this book signed. What a wonderful book of photographic history of Rock and Roll. I would love an evening to ask the million questions about being on tour with Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Van Halen and many more. Great job Mark Weiss.
As someone who was completely immersed in this music, I loved looking through all these pictures! It was great seeing shots that weren't the ones we've already seen a million times. This will definitely be on my coffee table until my dying day ✌️😎🎸📸
I received this for Christmas. The pictures are great, but there are a number of random photos without any background. A few of the photo shoots have a story but many do not.
Raw photos with anecdotes of the greatest decade in music.....the 80s!
