Chun Ock-bae

Ock Bae Chun is head of the Korea Institute of Buddhist English Translation, and a researcher at the International Association For Buddhist Thought and Culture at Dongguk University in Seoul, where he works primarily at translating Korean Buddhist materials into English. He studied Buddhism in the graduate school of Dongguk University, with his main area of research being Korean Seon, and is now collaborating in the compilation of The Korean Seon Buddhism Dictionary with professor Hyewon Sunim, in the department of Seon Studies at Dongguk University.
