Bix started his career as a writer by working in the dangerous and citrus-scented world of Hollywood. In his youth, he penned the over-rated cult classic films CHAIN OF FOOLS and LIFE WITHOUT DICK . He also worked in television but after getting gored by a pygmy rhino he decided it wasn't worth it. Bored with being paid so much, Bix switched his focus from the silver screen to the written word. BABES IN GANGLAND is his first book but he plans on writing more once he buys some pencils.

As an actor, Bix has appeared in exactly two movies. The virtually forgotten FARGO, in which he played the Nighttime Parking Attendant, and the uber-classic LUTHER: THE GEEK
