I am a retired librarian aged 66 and have been married for 45 years.

Dragon Magic is my first book and was inspired by my niece and nephews who star in the story. I like pastel painting, particularly portraits and animals. I have a website showcasing my work, which my husband Kevin designed. It can found here: http://www.carols-pastels.co.uk/

I am also slightly obsessed with patchwork and quilting.

I love animals but only have one pet at the moment, a adopted black cat named Topsy.

I also like to travel and my favourite holiday was a 65th birthday present from my brother - 3 weeks touring New England. We loved every minute. Kevin then spent about 3 months after the holiday designing another website here:

I have also visited New York, toured Nevada, Arizona and California,

I love America and would like to see more of it.
