Cyprien Bérard

4.2/5 ( ratings)
C.B. is supposed to have been a pseudonym used by
Charles Nodier
when he published Lord Ruthwen, ou Les Vampires , a vampire novel which may have been intended as a play and a sequel to Polidori's short story The Vampyre.

The title page of the first edition said "Lord Ruthwen, ou Les vampires. Roman de C.B. publié par l'auteur de Jean Sbogar et de Thérèse Aubert [Charles Nodier]" and the book was attributed to Cyprien Bérard, with whom Nodier was associated.
