Lauren Fortgang currently lives in New York City where she works as an actor and voice over artist. She had early training at A.C.T.’s Young Conservatory and is a graduate of Fordham University's Theater Program. Diverse in her field, Lauren has been fortunate to take on the roles of actor, spokesperson, narrator, and even costume designer and works in theater, television, independent film, and audiobooks.

Vocal work includes national commercial spots for the likes of Walmart and TJ Maxx and material spanning from video games to textbooks. She works regularly as an audiobook narrator at Audible, Hachette, Penguin-Random House, Scholastic and beyond, having recorded over 200 unabridged titles and hundreds of segments for monthly programming.

Among her narrations are works by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Joan Didion, James Patterson, Leigh Bardugo, Brene Brown, and Twyla Tharp.
