He grew up in South Wales and worked in opencast coal mines before going into business to run his own companies. 'But I was always writing and, eventually, business got in the way, so I gave it up.' Now he writes full time. 'It's as if it's all come full circle and, at last, I'm doing what I've always wanted to. It's taken a while.'

'Aden to Zanzibar' is the first of the Plain Sight novels, the second, 'Two Penny Blue', will be published in Spring 2021, and the final novel in the series, Watermark, in late 2021.
