Colin B Harvey is a British fiction writer and narrative designer working across games, comics, audio and prose. He is currently Senior Narrative Designer with Sony's London Studio, working on a forthcoming high profile Virtual Reality project. He has previously worked on game projects for Rebellion Developments and in a freelance for To Play For and Sony's Team Soho.

His original short fiction won the first Pulp Idol award in 2006, jointly conferred by SFX Magazine and Gollancz Books. He has written for Big Finish's Doctor Who and Highlander ranges, licensed by the BBC and MGM/Davis-Panzer respectively, for Mongoose Games' Traveller and Judge Dredd tabletop games and for Moonstone's Black Bat series.

His comic work includes material for 2000AD and Commando, and his novella Dead Kelly, set in the Afterblight shared storyworld, was published in 2014.

Over the years Colin's journalism has appeared in a variety of places including The Guardian, Edge, RetroGamer, ScriptWriter and Starburst, and for two years he wrote a regular column on game cultures for PopMatters.

He has written and presented numerous academic papers on the subjects of game writing, digital storytelling and transmedia storytelling, and is the author of Fantastic Transmedia: Narrative, Play and Memory Across Science Fiction and Fantasy Storyworlds .

Colin has a PhD in videogame storytelling. Yes, really.
