Robert Perisic is a prominent Croatian writer and journalist.

He has published award-winning nonfiction, fiction, and poetry titles in his native language. He began writing short stories in the 1990s with a clear anti-war sentiment and is now considered one of the most important writers and journalists in the country. He currently lives in Zagreb, Croatia.

His novel Naš čovjek na terenu received the prestigious literary award 'Jutarnji list'. The German edition of the novel also received ‘Literaturpreis der Steiermärkischen Sparkasse 2011’ in Graz, Austria. The English edition of the novel is published in 2012. In 2013 the US edition will come out.
