Jon Anderson has been a professional musician and a bit of a dick for all of his working life. He has worked as electronic music producer of international renown , accompanist to ballet and modern dance, amateur music theorist, song-writer, pizza cook, and cleaner in some of Australia’s most illustrious and fashionable educational institutions and the scandalously shit-besmirched lavatories appended thereto. He currently enjoys a enviably cushy position as “Pianist to the Stars” at the Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen. During a vain and futile search for relevance, Anderson joined friend and fellow bon vivant, Morten “Umpff” Langkilde in the upstanding fellowship adored and celebrated across the world as Mabel The Label, hoping to spread good music, good taste, visionary literature, joy, happiness and love wheresoever it may be in short supply . He would like to think that there is a meaning to life but is consistently thwarted by the facts. With the release of “A Pripyat Summer” , Anderson hopes to cement his reputation internationally as a shameless prevaricator and a right bastard.
